Customer Care Representative – Insurance & Financial Services

Starting at $17/Hour
Full-Time | In-Office | Vacaville, CA
Monday–Thursday 9 AM–5 PM | Friday 9 AM–3 PM
No Regular Nights, Weekends, or Holidays

We're looking for a friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented Customer Care Representative to join our growing insurance and financial services team.

No insurance experience or licensing is required to apply! We'll pay for your initial insurance licensing course and first exam attempt. You must successfully obtain your Property & Casualty insurance license before your first day of employment. Once hired, additional training is paid and completed during work hours.

What You'll Do

  • Assist customers with insurance questions, policy changes, billing inquiries, and service requests

  • Build strong relationships through friendly, professional communication

  • Proactively contact customers regarding policy updates, renewals, and coverage reviews

  • Identify cross-selling opportunities, recommend additional insurance products, and generate quotes

  • Confidently discuss coverage options and ask customers for their business

  • Follow up on quotes, service requests, and outstanding customer needs

  • Help improve customer retention through proactive communication and exceptional service

  • Maintain accurate customer records and coordinate with team members

  • Work toward individual customer service, retention, and cross-selling goals

This is a service-focused position with sales responsibilities. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping customers while recognizing opportunities to strengthen relationships and grow our business.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow through

  • Comfortable discussing insurance products and asking for the sale

  • Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable

  • Comfortable using computers and learning new systems

  • Willingness to obtain required insurance licensing before starting

Previous customer service, sales, or insurance experience is a plus, but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting pay of $17/hour
